Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Three Crowns B&B enjoys a superb location right on Sutton Harbour in The Barbican, within easy walking distance of attractions like the Theatre Royal and the Pavillion. Many guests appreciate the tastefully decorated and roomy accommodations, finding the beds exceptionally comfortable, even more so than in some 5-star hotels, and some rooms feature air conditioning. The included breakfast receives consistent praise for its tastiness and variety, with options available for vegetarians; however, some guests have noted noise from a nearby nightclub in the early hours. The views of the marina from many rooms are a definite plus, and the double-glazed windows help ensure a quiet night's sleep.

balanced room and breakfast

friendly staff comfortable bed wide range dusty fixtures wall mark broken dehumidifier
The staff IS very friendly and helpful. My room, the King Room Sea View, had a comfortable bed. Breakfast had a wide range of drinks and food, it set me up for the day.
I noticed dust on some fixtures like lights. I saw marks and scuffs on walls and skirting. A working dehumidifier in the bathroom would be beneficial.

central location lovely view hot shower unwarm staff heating instructions sticky floor
The location was quite central, very close to the harbour. Breakfast was included, it was tasty. My room had a lovely view. I enjoyed a really hot shower.
The staff was not very warm. There were no instructions for the heating, so temperature regulation was difficult. The floor in my room felt sticky, which I did not like.
